ECWolf is a new source port for Wolfenstein 3D. It is similar to ZDoom and is mostly compatible with ZDoom decorate.
In fact, here is an example of my code
Code:
actor AirBend : WolfWeapon
{
  inventory.icon "AIR"
  weapon.ammouse1 0
  weapon.selectionorder 3700
  +WEAPON.NOALERT
  states
  {
    Ready:
      AIRB A 1 A_WeaponReady
      loop
    Fire:
      AIRB B 6
      AIRB C 5
      AIRB D 5 A_FireCustomMissile("AirProjectile")
      AIRB E 4
      goto Ready
  }
}

It allows for softmodding, meaning one does not need to compile the source code to modify it. It supports .WAD and .PK3 file formats (hint: Slade 3). The texture I use is 128x128 pixels. It allows unrestricted map size and can even allow the player to shoot projectiles. You will want to check ecwolf.pk3 to find certain lump, actor and sprite names. I highly advise it!

Very interesting! We all did need a truly comfortable port for Wolf3D.

Slade already supported Wolf3D. :yup:

I'm saying to use Slade as the lump editor.

I've always used Slade as lump editor for Wolf3D. :shucks:

It's a very good source port! Perhaps the Doom Universe could make use of it.
