Go ahead and make a scam. In this case it'd be a random level picker, not generator.
You'd just make yourself look like a retard. Which I advice you against.

As for suggestions: lrn2code, that is all.

It's similar but not same. My idea about this program will be next. See spoiler!

Spoiler:
First, you can chose beetween two games, Heretic or HeXen
Second, you can chose SEED number from 1 to 50 for first version.
Third, after doing this program will copy 27.WAD from hidden data folder if seed are 27.
Fourth, i think i am not doing anything stupid so i just have fun with my favorite games.
Fiveth, when program will be done i will upload it and post link to this topic.
Sixth, I named program HereticHeXenLevelGenetator

Me and you seem to have a very different view on what's stupid and what's not.

Your level "generator" wouldn't generate levels, it would just pick premade ones.
"Generate - *to bring into existence*", in this case, it won't bring something into existence, since it already existed before.

As for having fun, how about you actually use your time on something useful - instead of something absurdly useless as this.
Also good luck hiding data, it'll be more cumbersome than it's worth.

You'd be better off trying to contribute to OBLIGE, that would at least be a worthy investment.
But naaah, who would do that?
