I really think you guys should re-start the Final Doom Remake Project, i saw all those screenshots that remains on the old forum and they looked awesome, you know, you didn't lost all the things, maybe a lot, but there are a few things that you still can use.

I might think about going back and trying something, after all I actually know how make things now, and map, instead of just drawing ideas... but that's why I have to make my jungle project first, to get experience :)

You know, I've been kind of missing group projects.. I know I haven't been active at Evil Incarnate, but there are reasons to that.. Propably the biggest one being that I just don't know enough about modelling. In Doom Builder and Slade I can do pretty much anything, which makes me automatically prefer Doom 2 mods over completely new games (atleast for now since I haven't been taught too much about game making yet at school.. Atm studying programming for Unity :shock: )

I know I have my own projects kind of frozen, but still I would be happy to join another project. I think it would be a good change for me and I might even be able to do something this time. I have also learned many things since the old project as I have worked A LOT on ZDoom Wars factions that include very complex decorate and acs code.

I hope that made some sense :lol:

I have forgotten about it long ago.. It got too big for one guy to handle. Also I am pretty sure that most of my work got stolen but I don't care.
Anyway HeXetic is big too and still I need something else to do before I can even imagine about continuing with it. :(

You dont seem to know a lot about my mapping standards XD

I will not tolerate anything else but great and it can take hours to make a single room :lol:


Anyway I kind of miss mapping for Doom.. BJ, you should consider about restarting the old project. :O
