Hi, does anyone know how do I remove the boxes around on some monsters that I want to add on my project?
Screenshots in spoliers:

First screenshot shows the monster normally and 2nd screenshot shows the monster without the box (edited first screenshot with MSPaint)
Does anyone know how I do it? GIMP maybe :?:
EDIT: As of 09 March 2012, this problem has been finally fixed, so this thread can be locked.

I would reccomend that you convert to lumps, in Slade 3.
Or colour remap the box to 247!
EDIT: You don't really need to worry!

I think the white are needs to be transparent colored.. I do that with Paint Shop Pro X but I think Slade3 can also convert it. :yes:

You should read what the site says more carefully, as it clearly states that you need;
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable.

As for removing the boxes, you can select by color in GIMP.
Though I'd recommend just dealing with it.

I installed the program and now works fine. Thanks! I will try to remove the damn boxes right now and release my project! :evil:
EDIT: I still can't remove them :x
I don't know what to do. I tried with Slade and I tried to convert to PNG (even though they were PNG) to remove transparency or whatever I did and it still didn't work. Also tried with GIMP to remove alpha channel and STILL DOESN't WORK! but on a site, said to add alpha channel not to remove it but I didn't had the option to add alpha channel because they sprites were already PNG. I am lost now. I think I will let them for a while and next time I will remove them. Can someone say all the steps how to get rid of them? Bloax maybe? :angel:

Select by color > (Select color of faulty box) > (Deselect anything that got selected within the sprite itself) > Delete/Clear > Save > PNG.
