Now, this has confused and shocked batandy when I told him this!
Spoiler:
Just look at his face ->

So, I'm going to explain how to make a doom mod in windows explorer!
Bet you would like that, FISH!
Spoiler:
So, first we make a folder called "DECORATE" and put optional sub-folders such as "WEAPONS", "MONSTERS", "DECORATIONS" and maybe even "LOL".
Then create text files in them such as "SSGFAST.TXT" and in that you will use decorate code!

Now, we have to set the main decorate lump (decorate.txt if you have't made it, make it now) to find the lump.
we would put:
Code:
#include DECORATE/MONSTERS/SPAM/GLASSYMAN.TXT

If you want to make sprites, make a folder called sprites, I'm not sure about subfolders, so don't try it.
Then, place the sprites in there in preferably, PNG format.
I would advise using MS-PAINT and INFRANVIEW for that

There is one called maps and that includes all maps in WAD format.

Others, that I don't need to explain include Patches, Textures ad sounds.

Now, outside of the directories, we put our DeHackEd, KEYCONF, MAPINFO and GAMEINFO lumps.

Now you compress it in a 7z(pk7 or 7z) or ZIP (pk3 or zip), not RAR, sorry vilde

So, do't waste your time installing slade, all you need is paint, infranview and windows explorer.

Why even bother doing this, when you 'have' to install IrfanView.
Not to mention that SLADE 3 is already fully portable, which means that you don't have to make a mess to configure it. (Or run it, for that matter.)

Of course it requires Visual C++ 2010, but that's just (easily obtainable) dependencies.

You don't have to install infranview, it's just what Wild Weasel recommended for making sprites transparent!
